It will pull to 8500-8800 with some chamber work, the angle cut head, the 288 cam and the ARP bolts. Holly 500 or bigger. The ARP bolts are needed for sure. 3-5 PTW clearance. Good oil pan.

OK what kind of spring rates should I start out at for the Rocco?? I was thinking a 500 lb. for the RF;I kinda know the LR rate isn't too important,so what about the LF & RR rates?

and which head/block combo would I be better off with?
-1.8 JH head on 8v HT block
-1.8 HT head/HT block
-1.8 JH head & 1.8/2.0 16v block
-1.8 HT head & 1.8/2.0 16v block
-1.8 JH head on ABA block
-1.8 HT head on ABA block
-1.8 16v head on 2.0 16v block
-1.8 16v comp. engine
-2.0 16v comp. engine
-any not mentioned (lol)
What I have right now is the 8v head on 16v block thats in the rocco racer now.I also have another whole 16v on the engine stand(head off).I also have access to 2 more 1.8L 16v engines,but no access to any other trannies.tranny in the racer now is a FF.just had the bunion surgery on my left foot this thursday,so I may not be driving for a few days(hydrocodone makes me loopy:screwy:).one thing I dont like about the raceland coil over shocks is the 2 pc. springs;i think thats a PITA,but what do I know? lol....so guys...whch engine combo is best? thanks!
