Need HELP Deciding - Pirelli Winter 210 Snowsport OR Michelin Pilot Alpin

I have to make a decision by tomorrow between these 2 tires, I can get them for the same price. I live in a very wet climate in Vancouver, sometimes we get snow, but not much. I currently have the 17 inch wheels with the all-season Michelins, but I don't want to keep them on for the winter, I like to drive up to Whistler every weekend to go skiing.
I just bought a set of 15 inch stock alloy wheels and I am looking for a winter tire that will give me good wet and dry performance. Please don't throw any other tires into the mix because these are the only 2 I want to decide between.
By the way, I have a 2001 Jetta 1.8T with the sport suspension.
