My buddy got the front motor mounts for his 1.8t and the holes dont line up on the engine. He got them form Velcoity and now there out of business, anyone know how to fix this?????

No its not the dog bone mount. this is the motor mount on the passager side next to the radiator fill and the power stearing fill sits on it. When we took off the old mount and put in the new one the holes lined up on the body same as the stock one but the arm that sticks out and attaches to the motor is about an inch and a half to short to attach to the engine. We tryed to pull the motor twards the front of the engine bay alittle bit but still no luck. I was thinking that maybe its a mount for a passat and not for a golf. Does anyone know Where my buddy can get motor mounts from? I heard that Velocity was out of business nothing confirmed yet but if you try and call them there is no answer.

From what i heard the owner is really sick right now and cant keep going with the business.
1.BillyT there is no play in the mount itself these are suppose to be rally mounts, you can barley move the mount the polyuritane is so strong it has almost no movement at all. Does anyone know where he can get other mounts from?
