This spring I'm changing my suspension, wheels & tires.
Since all of this is just a tad beyond my resources I will have to wait for spring 2003 for the rims. But I still want to do my +1 size this year so I can put these tires on the new rims next year. So I want to load the new tires on steelies.
Here are the facts & questions:
- I will install Koni Sport and H&R Sport.
- I want to go from 15" to 16" (and keep as close as possible the diameter of 23")
- I want to go wider; initially I wanted 225, but I think 215 is more realistic.
- What are the specs on 16" steelies (how wide, offset...)?
- Are steelies available with different offset's or will I need spacers?
- What the heck is "roll your fenders" means? (sorry I'm French)
I really appreciate the help guys ! http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

16X6.5 5-100 VW BLACK 16 HOLE ET42 $19.00

No

Following the fender where the arch is, you can feel the metal abrutly ends with a sharp edge going straight toward the sidewall of the tire. "Rolling" this edge straight up flush against the body panel moves it out of the way so that it does not interfere with the tire. So instead of the metal edge going straight toward the tire, it's now folded flat against the fender/quarter panel.

French is ok. Just be nice to us who don't speak the lingo when we come to visit.
