Need help on an hypothetical scenario

Say I buy a GTI DE and I really don't want those 18" wheels. What would be a fair price to ask to sell them for? 18" are just too honking big and the roads I live near would destroy them within a month.

why do you think the roads will destroy them and why are they too big...i can see it from a slight handling p.o.v. but who cares they look shweeeeeet.

I know somebody one the vortex is selling them for $2000(brand new, imported) not sure if that includes tires.
