i have a 91 jetta gl 8v, and i have a obdII 2.0 8v(96 jetta), i figured itd be too hard to put the OBDII into the 91 jetta, so could i use the 1.8 bottom end, w/ 2.0 head and 2.0 intake mani, and then somehow modify the throttle, would that work, and would it be worth it????? another thing what cam would be the best to use on a 1.8 8v engine, and what would be the best cam to use on 1.8 bottom end, and 2.0 head. are 1.8 head, and 2.0 heads the same. if i want to get an intake on a 1.8l what would i do w/ that huge boxy sensor thats on the front of the airbox. any help would help......thanks...MAX....

get the wiring and ecu out of an obd1 car for the swap, or run the cross flow on digi2

Yup, check the Hybrid Swap forum. The easiest course of action would be to put the 2.0 liter block on your existing head. It's pretty much a bolt right up job and the Digi injection can certainly handle all but the wildest iterations of this mod.
