I bought a set of PIAA's and a factory fog switch. My car did not come with fogs so I need to wire it up myself. What I need is to know what pole # on the back of the switch corresponds with what wire (ground, +, + to lights etc.)

Re: Need help on wireing for the factory fog light switch on B3 (autoxvw)

Look at the bottom of the switch. There should be numbers next to all of the terminals on the switch. Usually, ground is labeled with the number "35".
Although, polarity shouldn't matter, as long as there aren't any LED's involved.

Ok so 35 is ground, what are the other #'s? I know its a dual position switch so 2 of the posts will be used for the actual lights (that is 1 for the fog lights and then I can hook up the other for something else like a rear fog) but what do I hook up + to and what do I hook up the dimmer wire to?
