I'd like to increase performance as much as possible while dropping the level of the car as little as possible at the same time, because I take ski trips very frequently, so I don't always have the best roads in the world under my wheels...any suggestions?

Bilstein PSS9 coilovers (?) - dun drop as much as H&Rs I hear ... and urs is a 2000 MY so no clunking I think ...

Coilovers Rock! Like Mencius01 said, the PSS9's are not as low, they have adjustable valving and the whole clunking thing shouldn't be a problem, howver mine are a little noisy. But it's not the whole fitment problme with the newer cars, it's jsut kind of a design thing...
