Sorry for starting a new thread, I tried searching but seem to only get old threads with bad links and faulty pictures.

I purchased a used heater from a friend of mine(came in his parts car) it's the same heater from tdiheater.com i need the installation instructions that comes with it.
I tried emailing the company about buying a few hoses from them as my friend just cut the hoses when removing the heater(before he knew I was buying it) but they said they will only sell to existing customers in their system.

I can just get/make my own hoses no problem if I knew exactly what I needed.

if your friend purchased heater from .com then ask him to purchase from the web site.
if not im unfamiliar with part, if its a stock vw part you can get from many online sites,
in the pic it looks like a fairly standard size hose, you could go to a good store like napa and get water hose that is unmolded and get extra length to run corners.



-on further studying of pic, is that an aftermarket block heater?

Yes it is after market from frostheater.com / tdiheater.com (same site) I emailed them and they were able to email me the installation instructions.

yea, I like stainless braided should do, you don't have coupling needs, so get good quality clamps, and make sure your not going to leak,,
