I'm not sure if this is the right forum, but here goes. My blower fan for heat/cold makes a humming noise of the lowest speed. It goes away on the 2nd speed. I have had the dealership replace the motor and fan housing(2 trips in total) but the noise remains. I notice that sometime when I come to a stop and I have the headlights on, when I brake, the headlights will dim a bit and the noise goes away. Its like less voltage is going to the fan motor and thus the noise disappears. So, does someone out there know how I could connect a resistor to the lowest fan speed setting so the noise will go away? I have the Bentley book and will try and find the wiring diagram for the motor but I know jack about that kind of stuff and was hoping someone could help me???
