Allright so I pop the hood of my 97 2.0 and on the plastic wind/rain deflector by the windshield I see a metal badge that has a bunch of numbers on it. Is this the ecu code number or do I need to take the actual ecu out to know? I just need the number to know which chip to buy. Please help its pretty damn cold outside

nope, that code you see is the ECU number, its like xxx xxx 259AE thats mine, my code is 259AE

What the hell is up with these "plastic screws" how the hell do they come off??? The ones on the wind deflector. I am an idiot. Please help me
