Need help with timing belt on B5 Pasat in Northampton, MA

Looking for help installing a timing belt and water pump on an 03 VR Passat Wagon. This would be for my dad who's currently unemployed. Has some $ for the job but not the $1200 wanted by the local shops. Lemme know. Thanks! http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

03 passat's didnt come with a vr, and if they did, they'd have a timing chain. either way, contact jimmy (CorradoG602) and he'll hook you up.

Just MAKE SURE whoever does it replaces the cam adjuster seal (half moon) on the drivers side (at the VERY LEAST). Most places don't replace these for some stupid reason, and when (not if) they start leaking, you have to slip the t-belt off again to do it. You can do the pass side without having to slip the belt off. And $1200-$1500 for a COMPLETE service, is in the ballpark. By complete I mean cam adjuster seals, valve cover gaskets, cam plugs, cam seals, plugs, air filter, cabin filter, as well as all the belts, and all t-belt rollers, tensioners, and water pump.
