Hey all,
I'm working with a friend on a project for a spoiler for my car. The spoiler does not currently have a 3rd brake light on it, but we want to add one.

We want to add a slimline, 10" long LED, pref smoked or clear, right above the Honda logo. We don't want to reshape the mold for integration of the light, hence the reason we want to surface mount a slimline unit.
Would prefer something from a high quality light manufacturer. IE Hella, Silvania, Inpro, etc.

Yep, already checked there. Unfortunately we couldn't find anything that would be a match. 1" is too thick. Looking for something 0.5" or under.

These would look sweet, and would match your round taillights, they require a 1/2" hole to be drilled.

Still looking for a solution. The round ones are a definite possibility but am concerned about brightness and legality of using marker lights for brake lights.

that's the hardest part because the LEDs have a difinite thickness. a T1 (3mm) LED tends not to be bright enough (dimensionally would be ideal). Of course using OEM spoiler spoiler CHMSL would still be too thick for you
