had the Split Second boost controller in my 02 GTI. Works great, install is relatively easy if your pretty handy. I have one for sale if you are interested, lets make a deal.

True, it might have a few less hp gaines than a chip but is cheaper and easier to install for the do-it-yourself kinda person. It is also an easy mod to reverse with out having to take your car in somewhere.
