[Boostin20v]

I have a set and want to know what bulb type the turn signal and the city light bulbs are. I could not see any distinguishing marks on them before I put them on the car. And the are certainly different than the US/E-code halogen lights.

yep, high beems are H7 55w bulbs.
What happened with the fogs now that there's two turn signal lights? I've been wondering about that.

The HID lights DO NOT have w5w wedge bulbs as the city lights....I would not be asking if they did.....they are very different....

Hey how much are those lights? Could the low beam of that light be made to fit inside the mk4 LOOK lights?

Nah I don't think so but you could get one of this kits for your setup:

Those HID bulbs will fit your setup as easily as shown here in a MK4 headlight.

if you wanted to put HIDs on your Mk 3, I would get the dual round units, remove the halogen lowbeam, install the HID 90MM projector lamps from the Triple Mk4 Golf HID lamps (can be bought by themselves) and go from there. The beam pattern will be much better. All products can be made by Hella.

Thanks for the info, now what kind of bulbs are 15 and 16?? H21v/6w -- is that its name?

Yeah but that would pass the price for OEM Golf IV HID setup then you might as well go with the CABRIO front end and Golf IV HID headlights...

i dont think so, the OEMs are 2K us, the dual rounds are 400us + 700us for the Hella 90mm HID lows... thats saving some money, plus you would have a custom setup w/ I always give a http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif if it functions well.

$700 US for a PAIR of Hella 90mm HIDs?

im just guessing, the DE driving lamps are 500-600 right? the halogen 90mm are 60 a piece so go figure.

Well the DE Driving lights is a comericial item found on the shelf in well supplied stores the 90mm is a special setup and atleast here in europe you can get only ONE 90mm for the same price as a DE kit!

thats crazy! you have the 1000FF s on your Country right? but you have the halogens, correct?
