They only made a super low production number of them and even fewer made it to this side of the pond...check an old issue of MaxPower US for an artical of an early mk2 from Canada with this grille. Good luck

Cool...I think there wasa Black A2 with one on the cover of PVW(or maybe "The Golf") awhile back. Looking for pics of it. Anyone??
BTW: It looks like the Rado Oettinger grill and made for the quad-headlamp setup.

I remember seeing one in an issue of Auto Motor und Sport back 1985/86 when they did a big Golf 2 tuner shoot out.

it was the the cover car of my very first issue of "The Golf". it is what got me to buy a black GTi. the owner said that the wax he used was no longer made, and he was hoarding what he had left. he obtained the grill at a show in europe. i will try to get a pic of it.
