So, today we tried to put the new springs on my car and it could have gone better. I managed to crossthread one of the strut bolts, and now it's stuck on the strut .
When I went to remove the reat struts, one of the upper assemblies was totally rusted together. So, at this point I have to replace one of the strut bolts (and nut) up front and the rear is showing signs of rust up top. I decided it would be wise to replace all of the strut bolts around.
So, I need the size on the lower bolts up front, and the bolts that pass through the bottom of the strut in the back securing them down.
That makes for quite a dealership laundry list, so I think I'd prefer to just go to a specialty fasteners store and replace them all with stainless steel hardware.
Thank you.
