Hi everyone,
I am a collage student that have basic knowledge of GTI and was not sure of if this car fits what i need,so im sure most of you can giv me some advices :). The car have roughly 60k miles on it. The guy installed a GT2871r turbo with revo software at ard 50k miles on the engine. Some other stuff that he changes are DV, FMIC, 3" turboback exhaust, coilcover, swaybar, and 4 bar fuel pressure regulator. The guy said that the car usually runs ard at 10psi.(thats a bit low i think )

My question is that will the car have tons of machanical problems. Also what are things that I should make sure that is working properly.

any advice would be nice :D

buy a stock mk4 and build it yourself, you will be much more happy with it, and if you do the work, you know it will be done right. you dont know what ind of abuse that car has been through. and if a headache is what you want, im sure that bt gti will help you with that. but who knows, maybe its decent, i wouldnt roll the dice

buy stock not built

you have no idea what kind of abuse its been under and you ave no idea how to fix it if there is an issue..
Save your money and the pain..Like the other guy says buy STOCK and build it yourself...

MK4's are very plentiful out there and in really good condition..
i got mine with 40k and only paid $9k for it..with all leather too..
