My GTI is just about to come out the body shop and on the rear hatch that black decal that goes aeound the glass i cant find. Do you all think i should just leave it red or paint that part a shiny black??? i like the way the black makes it look but looking for thoughts

i still have it. it's off at the moment

I left mine body colour as I think it looks smoother, but it would look quite cool painted black instead of the vinyl trim

I know it's off the topic but, can you still find that black decal that goes around the trunk?? I've been looking for months..

the dealer near me had one left last year, VW doesnot make it anymore from what im told. There is a dealer in Canada that has it but would take along time to get to NY.

mines painted flat black, along with all my trim.
FYI: that is NOT my house.
