I had to heat mine pretty hot to get them out. Did you try any sort of penetrating stuff?? Good luck.

put a 4ft pry bar between the tie rod end and spindle, then try to get them seperate.if not soak with WD40,the lifesaver. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Re: Need tie rod end/ball joint help (Zyrod)

I'm going to soak them today and try again tonight. I think the pickle fork is too wide. When I bang it around the joint, it wants to move off to one side. Everyone, thanks for the input!

i went thought this during the fall. to get the tie rod ends off i used a tie rod end puller and they came off pretty slick and for the ball joint i wedged something in the crack of the knuckle to seperate then i hit it out with hammer. i had to use something strong to get to get at the end of the ball joint for i could hit it out
