One of the headlight bulbs is out on my front end (2001.5 1.8T). Can't seem to figure out how to disassemble things to get at the bulb. Unscrewed 2 obvious screws, but can't figure out the rest. I don't want to force things and break it.
Anyone done this before? Know what to do?
Thanks

Re: Need to change headlight bulb- help! (wukwuk)

Access to the bulbs is from the rear (in the engine compartment). There's a black rubber cover that needs to be removed. Do the driver's side first because it's easier to access. Some of the air intake has to be removed (easy) on the passenger side to get to it.

When I lost a front bulb, I drove to the dealer and they opened the hood, reached in, pulled back a few pieces of plastic, and reached it from the rear. As the bulb is covered by the warranty, why not take it in? (They did it while I waited, twice.)
