OK...some of you know that I have been running my H&R Race springs on my stock shocks. Well, they didnt last as long as I thought they would. Now I am looking to upgrade. I am looking at Bilstein and Koni but I am not sure what ones I should get. I want something that will last.
Bilstein Sport / Bilstein HD / Koni Sport
I don't mind if they are stiff. Someone help me out with the selection.
EDIT - a pic for more views

Re: Need to upgrade the stock shocks (NATE128)

they lasted about 6 months. The funny thing is...i was running Eibach Sportline springs on my stock shocks on my 2002 VR6 and they never had a problem.

Koni does not recommend their shocks with springs which drop more than 1.5" because the piston rod is normal length. When used with such short springs the shock will bottom out quite frequently, and Koni will not warranty the shock.

So you are saying Bilstein's are made for lowered cars with H&R Race?

yeah why would you say that? I would recommend konis, no one ever has a problem with them.

After a while the Koni adjusters are prone to break, I've heard of several breaking. They are also bouncy compared to Bilsteins. That could also be because mine were broke on full stiff though
