Hi, my friend just got an 07 Passat. He wants to disable the DRL's and they are going to do it for him at the dealership where he works. He needs the code for the VAS 5052. If anyone knows it, or where to find it, I would appreciate it.

The coding he needs is dependent on the coding that he has. It's a PITA to do it with the factory tools - easy with VAG-COM.

If you have done enough of these cars, you can start to see patterns in the hex to bin, convert, then bin to hex conversions. I hate the patterns, they talk to me when I'm sleeping.
If he can read with the 5052, write down the current long coding and many of us here can help you with YOUR new coding.
