We need to make a connection with a local (Rochester, NY) 1.8T Jetta owner for a test install of this system (system is here). 2.5" catback system with 4Motion rear valance and dual tips. Same basic system as our Golf systems but designed to fit the Jetta.
After the test fit is successful we should be able to deliver production systems to owners in March. System is designed for 4Motion valance only. System without valance is $595, $695 with valance. -Pete, Stratmosphere

Re: Need Volunteer for local fitting of new Milltek Jetta 1.8T Catback... ([email protected])

While I'm not entirely local and I don't know what a test fit requires of the volunteer in terms of availability after fitment; I will be in Syracuse this Friday through Sunday, and have been waiting for this exhaust for what seems like ages
If no real locals step up, let me know.
Happy to see it's been completed and is nearly ready.

quote:

and thanks for the offers so far. Syracuse *could* work but we are closed on the weekend.
The VR6 fit will be identical, we just chose to try the 1.8T for the test fit for some reason. -Pete

hi pete, as far as 1.8T Jetta in rochester...i don't really know any of them around here that belongs to a car enthusiast, except my friend bryan, however he already has an exhaust sytem on his car, so finding one would be rather hard.

Yeah, I'd be up for it, but I couldnt pass up the last Forced Motion full system group buy. I love it, even if it has been molested.
