i know they are nice cars and all but do they have alot of problems with the quattro system!???!

It's not sluggish, it's just a different kind of character. It's very easy to drive fast at highway speeds, but it doesn't have the quick punch of a VR6. This is mostly due to quattro and the Auto. I have a similar Audi 90 5spd with the same 2.8l 12v V6 engine.

I would wait around for a stick if I was you.
quattro is bulletproof.
If somebody tells you "fill in the blank" AWD is just as good or better than quattro, they're idiots.

well i am not tooo concerened witht the fastness cause i am only 17 and speeding tickets i don't want plus come on speed is not everything and plus i own a 2.0 bug!

I would trade the beetle for a car with less kilometers. The A4 with the V6, Quattro and the auto is a very well built car, but I would rather have a car that is not as nice but is newer and with lower km.
Another thing to consider is that the Audi will be more expensive to repair and maintain. So even if the cost right now is about the same you have to consider this.
If you do get it you will be very happy.

Are you sure you want to take on a car with that many kilometers? that's almost 200k. Sure its an Audi, but with that many k's on it, it will start to need lots of maintenance and repairing/maintaining Audis is not cheap!
Think about it...
