Neuspeed Softsport

I am curious to know how the ride is with these springs. is it comparable to an H&R/Bilstien sport set-up? I am curious because i live in a city where teh roads are really crappy, with lots of dips and pot holes, I think if I went with the H&R set up i wouldn't even be able to get out of my driveway.
Any info on this whould be greatly appreciated

anyone???
Re: Neuspeed Softsport (hoser125)

I think if you do a search through the archived section of this site for "Sofsport" (note, no "t"), you should be able to find some old threads. I believe someone did a review on them after installation. He liked them but the ride is stiffer than say a set of Eibach's.
Thanks,
Peter
Re: Neuspeed Softsport (hoser125)

I've got the SofSport springs and Bilstein HD's on my Jetta VR6.
The total drop is ~3/8" Supposedly the spring rate is the same as the Neuspeed Sport springs. With the Sport springs you'd use the Bilstein sport dampers.
Anyhow, back to the SofSports/HD's. I really like the ride. Its much better than stock, plus you get to keep some ground clearance for the winter.
EDIT: incidently I got mine (springs and HD's) from the potters at http://www.parts4vws.com
