Sorry, no clue what it's really called
But does the Neuspeed Upper (Strut? Brace) Bar thing really work? Or is it just a waste of money?? Will I notice a difference, and if so, how hard is it to install???

Re: Neuspeed Upper Bar thingy (JettaFlavah)

Heh "Neuspeed Upper Bar Thingy" is really a Front Strut Tower Brace (or Bar). I just put one on this weekend. Honestly, I can't tell a difference at all... what I did notice however was the amazing effect of the rear sway bar. I hear that you'll only notice the strut bar at high speed cornering, not for every day driving. Who knows... it looks cool!
As for installation, you have to drill 4 (2 in each tower) 3/8th inch holes, and let me tell you, the strut towers are THICK! Not to hard though after the holes are drilled.

Rear Sway bar... okay, so is that IMPOSSIBLE to attach? Let me guess, drop the whole subframe of the car and go to town? Or like, $250 for someone else to install it...hmmm

Re: Neuspeed Upper Bar thingy (VR6 Kid)

the rear bar is an easier mod then taking off your rear emblem and putting vinyl or painting to match.
its the front bar that you dont wanna f*ck with. Subframe needs to be dropped to but that bad boy in.
and for the Front strut bar, with a front sway bar, ive heard it helps some. i dont notice much but the polished one i got from NS is freakin bad lookin.
