Hi guys i am from the Uk and i am builing a Kit Car (Aeon GT3) with a 1.8T engine.(AGU)
Whats your best set up recomendation for Engine internals, manifolds and turbo for about 400 BHP

stock AEB, or a set of scat rods to be safe and that's it. comes in up to 99.5 Audi A4 and passats.

Sorry yes its a european AGU transverse Engine so your AEB then.

Set of good rods, set of cams, set of valve springs (depending on cams), aftermarket intake and exhaust manifolds and a GT3071R.

ATP exhaust Manifold ?
APR intake manifold ?

I recommend the CAT 101 3653.
For the exhaust- I think what fits best will be a consideration. I am unfamiliar with the kit car of which you speak. ATPs mani works well, as does the PAG parts. I'd figure out which way is most convenient to mount the turbo and go that way. A tubular like the Full-Race will make more power, but is more expensive and takes more room.
There are lots of intake manifolds now. APRs looks very nice, I know the Roass MAchine ones are good. There are also the USRT, OO7, ABD, Hypertune and probably others.

Yoy may get some inspiration from this guy in the UK who is putting a 1.8T in his Lotus Elise and aiming for circa 350bhp with a GT28rs. Obviously you would be looking at a slightly bigger turbo etc....

It's a three seater (central driving position) fiberglass body spaceframe chassis.
Mid engine
700 Kgs
Mine will be the GT3 Spider

i'd suggest a garret series turbo......as for size a gt35 will get you there easy.....your gonna want standalone engine managment.....any questions on your build shoot me a im...and your gonna wanna build the bottom end....rod's atleast...

A 35r wont be very responsive for the type of driving that car is meant for. Which I think is why Bobqzzi reccomends the 3071r. The Biggest you would want on that car is a 3040r.. even still If I were building a car such as that I would match it up with a 3076r .63 http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

I was going to use a GT3071R .64 with an external wastegate and chargecooler set up.
As for managment i will be using aftermarket MBE system.
Just need to choose the right manifolds
