Here are some new pix that i took yesterday. A2VR6T has been hard at work on it this past week while i have been busy with school (thanx dan!). We finally got the rear bumper cover on (what a b***). I think that the bumpers are going to have to come off again to get the clips to go on correctly (i hate those things, please someone out there make, market and sell some A2 big bumper clips that work, like metal ones with cotter pins or something!!!). The weather was really nasty yestearday, but it made for some good pictures. No little sister in these ones fellas, sorry.
Check out that ground clearance on that first pic!!!!!
That's gotta go!
Have fun with the pix, i am going to post some jetta ones now in the rocky mtn regional and G/J2 classifieds...my jetta is for sale.

Re: New blu car pix (duff_man2000)

I'm still iffy about the fenderflares, sideskirts and sidemoulding. I don't know what to put on (if anything). I wanted to wait to see what it looked like with the bumpers on (and also to ask ya'll). I personally like the sideskirts and flares, but deleting them is something different, less junk to worry about, easier to wax...
I am thinking about doing the sideskirts and flares but no sidemoulding. I went thru alot of trouble to smooth all of the holes in the doors and quarter pannels etc. What do ya'll think? I do have a set of new G60 flares in my bedroom, but i can't talk myself into giving those to my sister
. Isn't enough that i build her this car (with my parents $$), that i give her my BRAND NEW G60 flares and sideskirts...hummm.

Re: New blu car pix (IwannaGTI)

The dealership when i worked there. They have been sitting in my room for over 6 months now. Still in their VW plastic bags, just collecting dust. I ordered so much stuff when i worked at the dealer, they were getting pissed off about it. I have new sideskirt doublestick strips too

I think all it needs, besides a little lowering, is just to clean up between the bumpers and metal fender flares are. You know, so there arnt any big gaps there. Maybe those half flares do that, I dont know. But if they do, just fire those on there and leave the rest be. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

hummm, yes. That is what i have been thinking...decisions, decisions. I know, maybe i'll let her decide!
P.S. I forgot to tell ya'll that we redid the headliner in black fabric (i got headliner fabric, yes). It looks GREAT! I decided not to put the visors back in the car (will my sister miss the vanity mirror??? maybe
) so she got a visor strip instead.

does the 2.0x-flow have a wider track??? It looks like the front wheels are out farther than the back
ALSO, I think a upper grille spoiler would really work on that car!!!! http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Re: New blu car pix (3WheelGTi)

They are G60 wheels, just without those STUPID lug covers. The wheels look much better w/o them IMHO and a BBS or VW centercap fits right into the hub hole! (I have BBS ones in that car now, but i am supposed to be trading my friend VW ones for the BBS ones because he is going to put them in his real BBS wheels)

Good question! I don't know, we did use the A3 subframe and control system. But the car is also in need of an alignment, so we'll see if that helps things out (the fronts have alot of toe-out). I guess that i could get some spacers to make the rears stick out a little so that it does not look as odd. I guess i won't know for sure until my alignment guy gets it up in the air.

The wipers are in the trunk, it is in the garage and nobody is driving it until it gets lowered and aligned.
