If my timing belt broke would there be enough clearance in the engine so my valves would not be bent?
its a 1992 8v engine. if that helps anything .

yes they are non-interference engines....but may i ask why you dont just replace the timing belt now so you dont have to worry about this happening to begin with??

got new car i ahve spare motor but i can save money if it just was the timing belt, owner said that was probably the problem but couldnt deal with it, thanks.
