just got my baby back from Autovice with a euro-spec clutch and a 12.5lb flywheel for my 02M 6speed... sounds like a tractor tranny now compared to before with the dual mass flywheel that runs 20lbs+.
i dont think its a bad thing, especially if you've owned an air cooled dub, sounds almost the same. noisy at idle, but shifts and engages like never before.
just wondering how many other peeps have gone that direction and am curious what you think of it...

yeah, thats no good... my mech said hes had nothing but good from them though... hoping for the best...

300WHP for 30K miles
400WHP+ for 17K miles

Something as catastrophic as the link above was either a lack in break-in process - or (I don't care who says otherwise) - install error.
It's the loudest clutch kit i've ever heard in my life... You are right about it sounding like a diesel... But it does it's job and never slips. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif When this dies - i'll be grabbing a southbend kit. Just because they can stand up to abuse and they are 2/3 the price of a E.S.S.
