I am getting my South Bend Stg 2 daily/silent clutch kit installed this week. Included in the box is a new throwout bearing. The label says "LUK/OE RELEASE BEARING" with a part number of 0A5141671F. I called South Bend to get more info about this, and I was told that it's actually an OEM spec throwout bearing for MK4 cars, but they recommend using this model because it is built better than the current MK6 ones. Are the throwout bearings between generations a direct swap?

Should I/can I:
1. Install with provided "MK4" TOB
2. Install with new MK6 OEM TOB
3. Keep the original TOB installed (20,000 miles)
