Hi.
My name is Nuno Pereira, i'm from Portugal and I'm a proud owner of a Skoda Octavia 1.6 GLXi.
I can see that it's all RS around here... I wish I had one too.

Welcome to the vortex nuno,
although it is mostly RS stuff here, other owners and non owners post here to. indeed there is shaun with his Felicia and Ron with his non RS octavia also. If you have some more pics, you can email them to me and I will post them on my website along with the other octavia pics I have there. It's a growing site so the more pics the better. get my email address from one of the gallery pages. You may also want to send them to David Carson as he is also constructing a website, links are on my homepage.

Nice car , makes a change to see a regular Octavia! Do you enjoy driving it? Have you had any skodas before ?

It's not a regular Octavia! It's "my" Octavia".

"Our" car is always the best, right?

And yes, I enjoy driving it. I have a good time with it, although it's not a big machine - it's only the 1.6 101 HP.
But it's okay - probably the best 1.6, ~100 HP, 8v, engine out there!
And I still give some headaches to a few TDi 110 HP!
My previous cars were a BMW 315 (1981) which was very fun - RWD, and a Mitsubishi Lancer.
But then I saw the Octavia (1998). Love at first sight!
