All I can say is that the front doesn't match the rear. Mercedes front...not a Mercedes rear. The first time I saw one of those was when it passed me on the freeway. First though...oh there goes another Acura RSX...oh wait???!!! What's that Mercedes symbol doing on the back? That's when I realized it was a Mercedes. I think if you have to stoop this low to get the car just to have the Mercedes name, then you are really sorry. The car is ugly, although pretty fast, but still ugly...definitely not Mercedes like in style. Now everyone is going to be driving these around because finally there's an "affordable" M-benz out there.

Re: New Mercedes C-Coupe Kompressor...or whatever it's called... (Ted)

I almost bought one!
Put a deposit and everything.
RWD, superchared 4 cylinder.. The car almost embodied everything the Corrado "should" have been. It drives smoothly and the panoramic roof feature is awesome for cruising around. In the end I felt like $32K (Silver color + sportwheel package + leather + sunroof) and 3 months waiting time weren't worth it.
After thinking about it, I cancelled my order, got my deposit back and put it down on an A6. I figured I was getting a lot more car for my money, and I got it the same day.
Still, I think the C-Coupe is a novel idea

This car is much better than i expected. There was one at AutoX today, it looked great.. With the evolution package, the car handles very nicely and power oversteer is availible on demand. Looks extremely fun to drive. However the leather on the car looks kinda cheap for a Mercedes. If you treat it as a normal sports coupe(not a mercedes), it really is quite good. i would definitely take that over a RSX Type S or Prelude. FR is always better

The C-Coupe is more of a good concept that doesn't execute as good as expected.
The driving characteristics is more sporting than sporty. The overall dyanmic qualities are not sharp enough. On the other hand, RSX feels sharper and more direct even if its a FF.
Given the price of a C-Coupe, I am knocking on Audi dealer for an A4 1.8T,

Yeah!!!
FR all the way!!!
For that price for a decent FR car, it just can't be beat. I know u can get a RSX for that price and it handles better, but it's time the public get educated about what FR is all about!!
