I dont know if this strikes an interest in you but, you should take a grinder to those bars on top and cut the ends off that go past the locks. It would look a lot better! Kinda flows with the car more. I did it to mine, it came out really good, check it...

I haven't owned that car for 3 years now. Plus I always use my rack for hauling multiple thing. So the crossbar spread is a good thing.
