It's still raining and dark, so I couldn't roll it outside for some quality shots. Here are a few I shot tonight...

The grille was just stuck on for chuckles, so don't b!tch about haow crappy the fit is!

They are just 11" Corrado brakes, but they fill up the wheels big time!

No. But they are so tall and fat that they dwarf the wheels. The 195's make the wheels look bigger. Plus, they shouldn't flex much in the corners.

The 205's don't flex much. However, when the tires start to roll over slightly, you'll be drivng on the sidewalls, and only the sidewalls... not exacrly a good way to go fast. At least with the 205's you'll have further to go before you're driving on the sidewalls.
If you like how it looks, cool, to each his own... but don't be fooled into thinking that 195's stretched onto wheels that big will give you better performance than 205's. Ideal size for those wheels is actually closer to a 215- or even a 225!

I know better, but in this case, it's function follows form. If I were building the car to autocross, it would have 13x9's and 225/50 Hoosiers...

But I'm building it to look like a cartoon, with super hero power

Are those the Dubsport lips? Man they are getting popular! I was going to start saving after x-mas for mine. Who knows maybe I won't do it anymore.
Anyway, looking good. What grill are you going to use? Also, what are the specs? I don't think I have read anything about this creation yet.

well if you look in the new pvw at the primer black polo he has 13x8.5 and 13x9 rims with 175/45/13

Exactly!
But...if you just got the wheels for looks (i.e. car shows or "chick impresser"), you'll be OK, just don't take any corners too fast.

Hey Scott- you know,sometimes you can't say or do anything without folks tellin' you how wrong you are. I think the wide small dia. wheels look badass,and it's not a track car,so let it rock,baby! You can tell a car's gonna be the sh1t when it looks this good half done.

They are the shortest valve stems that Discount Tire had. The have a stainless sleeve and cap.
