are they using the same engines as in the previous Forester GT?
or is it a detuned version of the MY01 wrx's.

First gen one with the small taillights still looks the best. This one is getting ricey and gaudy just like most other Japanese compacts are. Silly styling cues that go no where, wings and spoilers and taillights that hint at r|ce mods. It's a nasty trend.
I hope they don't ruin the Legacy too. It's the only somewhat conservative, normal looking car they have now.

The Forester Turbo S sold here in Norway has a 2.0 B4 engine with 177 hp. Like someone said, it's likely a detuned WRX. This pic is the Euro version Turbo S
