I'm cross-posting this from the passat forum. Please don't lynch me.
Possible new suspension setup:
Bilstein struts and shocks
Eibach pro-kit 1 1/2" lowering springs
Front VR6 strut mount bushings and bearings
$715/neg. for the whole shebang.
Would I need anything else in order to install this stuff? How's the price? Any opinions on the parts? Thanks for input.

Excellent choice in parts. Be sure and use the Bilstein Sports . You've got it all covered, but you may find your spring caps, especially the rears, to be rusted out and needing replacement. They were about $25 each from the stealer, my '92 GTI needed these (the rears) after only 5 years from new. Good luck, you'll love the handling!
