I have the original BBS RM's on my ride, which are 6.5" wide, and I'm wonder if I can run 205-50-15? I know it should fit on the rim, but will I rub? Is anyone doing this? I'm most interested in Kumho Ecsta 712's, but those new Falken Azenis look pretty cool too. Any ideas?

Re: New Tires, input needed (3WheelGTi)

nearly everyone running 16 and 17" rims are running a tire 205mm in width, i wouldn't worry about it. worse case senario you might have to trim the fenders, but only if you're lowered more than 2", what's the offset on the rims?

Re: New Tires, input needed (A2GTI_8V)

the offset is all stock, it should be fine, but I'm just curious what happens with 205 series tires. i know the speedo will be slightly off, but a larger contact patch would be nice.
