Need to get some drivetrain / suspension work done on my corrado slc.
Can anybody point me to any vw specialists here in St. Louis.
Or am i stuck with main dealer hourly rates ($85/hr)?

I don't want to be mean, but you should work on a Corrado yourself. Takin one to a shopwill leave you dead ass broke
Check out a Bently Manual

There was a car audio/aftermarket car type shop just east of Linberg on Manchaster when I lived in St. Louis back in 1999. It was called the Speaker Store or Company, or something like that. I think the head car audio installer at the shop was a corrado nut, and he did aftermarket parts installation and stuff in shop too. I'm not totally sure, but check it out, you have nothing to loose.
