If the smoke is blue/gray, it's oil and you either have valve guide seals going out or if the engine was abused; possibly rings. If it's white and the temp is high, you're looking at a headgasket. If it's black, you're running too rich.

Is the temp staying normal? Does it smoke more or less when accelerating?
