I keep hearing about 're-organizing stuff,' but never really what that means or entails... What are you guys planning on doing? The rest of us are kind of hanging here.

We'll miss ya this spring Bryan. It'll be a lot quieter while we're driving.

Turbo, you gotta be getting more turbo. I'm thinking i should upgrade mine... you know, get one of those 3 foot tall compressors from an 18 wheeler (keeping it in the diesel family). I don't need my hatch anyway. I think there might be a wee bit of lag, but I'm sure it'll be plenty driveable.
I just love those pictures of your GTI in the snow Stu... especially one of the ones where your car kind of looks like it has a flat black colour to it.

Of course you don't, but it was a simple question. I enjoy going to the Sunday meetings, and I imagine the other members do to. All I was asking for was an answer...

I figured everyone would like to know what direction the club will be taking this spring. I guess we'll find out when we find out. Thanks.

we are in the process of changing the web site. adding a forum section. all the members will have to re-apply to be members of dubr. they will need to answer a few questions and what not. the people that actually show to the meets will have no problem being members. the people that dont show, or dont reply to the questions will be pushed into the forum member section, so they will not actually be members of dubr. we feel that the club has gotten too many members that dont participate enough, and we dont want people we dont know personally using our name for affiliation...

yeah, so certain people don't misrepresent dubr anymore.... i ran into the vertigo guys last week and they were glad to hear me say that dubr was not anything like one member they met, that was electrocuting himself on his strobes as he was trying to fix his faulty wiring..... they're meeting saturday at 12:30 in S Lot.... anyone up for it? it'd be cool if a bunch of us rolled up in our dubs. the guys were pretty cool, there was even a 1.8T modded jetta there last week. (why he's not in dubr is beyond me)
