I just heard that the exhaust law applying to automobiles has been revoked. Now the only way to get fined is if the police receive complaints about your vehicle, but they cant stop you for loud exhausts. Anyone have info to back this up?

I have some info, NH is for losers.
I was fined over twice what NH drivers in the same proceeding were fined. Many of them being repeat offenders having done a greater speed than I did or equal.
So if there's some nonsense in the NH system, I'm not surprised.

I think section 3 ( repealed) used to say something to the effect of "the muffler may not be louder than stock" or something like that.

Yes, but now city's , like Manchester, are putting ordiances into effect for "noise violations". Basically, it depends on the officer. And no, if you take it to court in Manchester... they won't throw it out. NH is awesome like that

Hi, I've been tagged 3 times for my exhaust, the first time was for modified exhaust, 72$ fine, the second time was Manchester Noise Ordiance 100$ and the 2nd one was the same thing, but the fine was 380$ for second offense, I went to court, lost, had to pay alot of money for stupid reasons..... http://****************.com/smile/emthdown.gif
