quote:

Shifting the future of the minivan, Nissan's Next Generation Quest Concept is a bold departure from traditional minivan design, creating a very architectural and fluid alternative to a category marked by "boxes on wheels." The Quest Concept, which makes its world debut at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit in January 2002, features a long, sleek cabin with a flowing beltline gesture, a unique wraparound glass treatment and, to emphasize its athletic performance capabilities, 20-inch wheels and tires pushed out to the corners. The Quest Concept also features a power operated bi-fold tailgate for easy cargo access, a glass roof to illuminate the cabin, a "pop-up" roof rack and highly efficient fiber optic headlights.
The interior of the Next Generation Quest Concept breaks new ground in minivan interior design, creating an unparalleled vehicle environment for "family and friends." The interior challenges convention with an innovative and efficient instrument panel layout, stylish and comfortable seat design and thoughtful storage locations. The inspiration for the seating design and layout was premium comfort for six people, an experience enhanced by the Quest Concept's open interior atmosphere, centralized information center, advanced rear seat entertainment system and full-length overhead console.

quote:

Part sports car, part SUV, all exhilaration, the second generation Infiniti FX45 Concept continues the original's "Bionic Cheetah" theme, combining sports car performance with SUV utility and an advanced all-wheel system. The aggressive styling of the FX45 Concept, which makes its world debut at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit in January, is accentuated by its long wheelbase, wide stance, 21-inch wheels and tires, LED taillights and unique roof pillar design. Powering the FX45 is an advanced 300+ horsepower 4.5-liter V8 based on the class-leading 2002 Infiniti Q45 powerplant.
The Infiniti FX45 Concept offers a highly personalized four-passenger interior wrapped in handcrafted Brick-colored leather with polished aluminum accents. This juxtaposition of "warm" and "cool" textures provides a fitting atmosphere for the FX45's balanced combination of high performance and high luxury. Special equipment featured on the FX45 includes polished aluminum pedals, "floating" instrument cluster, large navigation monitor screen and rear seat entertainment system.
I would also expect to see the 350Z and the G35 there as well... who knows maybe even the GT-R concept too. Afterall, with the GT-R concept being LHD and built to show the world that Nissan plans on introducing the GT-R worldwide, why not then show it off woldwide?
