Re: No CAI for german racing team (Stewz-GTI)

Sweet Seat http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif i would say they probably use a stock airbox is because CAI's dont really do much performance wise mainly just sound wise but im sure you already knew that

That can't be a OEM filter I see under there! Looks just like the OEM pink!

Re: No CAI for german racing team (Super1.8T)

unless it has a front mount, the twin ICs on the TT225-similar chassis doesn't have functional space for a CAI

Re: No CAI for german racing team (Raman Gain)

Looks like it has a front mount. In some classes, a stock airbox is required in racing. With the "ramair vent" thing they got going there, I'm sure it's just as if not more affective than a cai anyway.

actually if you look closely, they are technically getting cold air. Just a modded stock airbox with plumbing that sucks up cold air from the front bumper.
