I have a 95 jetta gls. The heat is not working, its cool air coming out of the vents. I also have foam (insulation) coming out of my vents. I understand the cold air may be coming in through the blend doors and this is why I don't have heat.
I am going to buy the foamies from walmart as suggested on the forum to fix it.
When I turn on the heat or AC, the first switch does not work, and the second switch will come on only if put it on high first. Can the the insulation coming apart be related to the blower or can the the blower motor be going?

Thanks
