Well I've tried searching
I'm workin on my friends 88 16v rocco and we're not getting any spark from the coil
I checked all the connections going to the coil, all 12 volts there
All the grounds seemed to be good and hooked up.
so I checked the voltage going to the hall sender. Its only getting 3.4 volts
The bentley says there should be 12v, so where did the rest of the 8.6 volts go?
where should I look?
I tried swapping the ignition control module with a good one. Still 3.4 volts.

Re: No spark: 88 rocco 16v (81babbit16v)

check the distributor, here's how to:
Grab a test light and connect the aligator clip to the "+" side of the battery. Test to see if the ground at the plug is good by touching the "-" pin on the plug. Ground the aligator clip and test to see if there's power getting to the plut (with the key on) by touching the "+" pin on the plug. If everything is ok so far then touch the middle "0" pin on the plug, that's the signal, if you have spark then your dizzy is bad.
