Ok, I am really missing my Volvo wagon right about now. Ah, don't be offended- but jeez, when the back windows are down and the fronts are not cracked open, my 2000 wagon makes you feel like your in a friggin' mind warp. I have a huge dog that rides with the windows down, so this is an issue, esp. in the winter. But now it's nice out and people want the window down; when someone cracks the window(s) - watch out, head trauma! (insert puking emoticon here) So I have to open the fronts to make it go away. Even when the sunroof is open, I can't run with the fronts up. Anyone know of any wind deflectors or something I can add to this aero-challenged car?

crack your sun roof one notch up
or just open one of you front windows a couple of millimeters it will stop.
If you watch that silly VHS tape that comes with your car it explains all that.

This is an issue with MANY makes/models not just the Passat. My Highlander does the exact same thing except MUCH worse.
Crack the sunroof.

btw, I always run with the sunroof open and it still happens...
I'd love to see the VHS tape! I'm not the original owner...
So does the tape also tell you how to disengage the automatic door lock or what to use for cleaning the leather?

Wide open or just a crack as suggested above?
As for the auto locks, the dealer (or someone with a VAG-COM) can change the setting for you.
