Just a couple of days ago I got flashed with stage 1 software. As we all know it's not that big of a power increase, but definitely brings out the good side of a 1.8T.
I was wondering if my car needs a few days to adapt to these changes? The technician who did it said just to drive and not to worry about anything, but I just wanted to know for my own curiosity?
Also, there's a high pitched female sound coming from the passenger seat. Feels like my ear is gonna fall off. Anyone have a quick fix for this problem ?

What is APR rated for in gains? Any chipped 1.8T i've been in is pretty different from stock.

Apr says a stage 1 will put you at 209hp and 242lb-ft
I went with Revo and the website says 207hp and 232lb-ft

I got APR because there like 10 minutes from me and once it was done I notice the increase in power and liked how my boost gauge would spike 20 and level around 17

I'm assuming my car doesn't have to adapt or adjust to the power change

I just got a 03 jetta with the 1.8t. I have been wondering where can i get a chip for it and about how much would it cost? It seems like you have a pretty decent power increase from what was stock.
