I'm in.
I've been meaning to hook up with NorcalVW for a drive since I got my
VW..just never had the time.
Only thing is, I don't know where the initial meeting point is.
i'd really like to go, but what are the roads like? it seems like every time i've gone through there on my motorcycle, i nearly lose teeth the roads are so rough. i'm still a little nervous about damaging a wheel...
i'm down!!!! napa is ok, i'm from that area. (Fairfield) but going towards lake berryessa is pretty nice too...the roads arn't that bad. like mt hamilton where they got the lil bridge things...i would almost offer my a lil snack bbq at my family's place (which i JUST moved out of). but i also work that night. but i'd go to that run for sure....hit me up!
We had a tremendous turnout: 67 cars were present at the start. A few had to leave early, but Eurotuner got a huge picture of over 50 cars near the end. The support of our members is just amazing.

Had a good time, one other A1 and one other diesel there, so I didn't feel too out of place
Of course I couldn't figure out why there were all the stops at gas stations, drove up from the South Bay (100 miles), 115 miles on the drive and back home, still have a half tank of fuel at 320 miles. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif
Yep, it was tons of fun.
Actually there were 2 other diesels, my MK4 Golf and Hank's MK3 Jetta.
Gotta love that 1.9L diesel....between yesterday and driving around today, I'm nowhere near 1/2 a tank yet.
cant believe my stupidass missed it. i actually thought it was next saturday. but to my amazement i wake up 130 saturday afternoon go to the norcal forums to see updates and what not. i hit myself in the head. "GAWD!!! the drive is today" what a dumbass i am.
